Privacy Policy
Effective date: 13 August 2026
1. Scope and effective date
This Privacy Policy explains how DSE Consultancy handles information when you use this website, complete an assessment, contact us, or request a service. It takes effect on 13 August 2026.
2. Information you submit
We collect information that you choose to provide through an enquiry, audit, contact, or service form. Depending on the form, this may include:
- Your name, phone number, and email address.
- Your business type, location, selected service or package, and source page.
- Your message, project needs, and other information you enter.
- Your acknowledgement of the form's required privacy consent.
3. Assessments, source, and campaign information
If you complete a website questionnaire or assessment, we may collect the assessment name, result, readable assessment answers, and the service-page destination. When present in the page link, we may also collect limited campaign information: UTM source, medium, and campaign. These details help us understand the context of your enquiry.
If you choose an assessment result link, the editable brief and structured context move once to the matching service form through same-tab session storage. The destination form removes that handoff when it reads it. The assessment and campaign values are not placed in the destination URL, and an unrelated direct form visit does not reuse them.
4. How we use information
We use this information to:
- Receive, review, and respond to your enquiry.
- Arrange follow-up and prepare relevant service guidance or a proposal.
- Understand which page, assessment, or campaign led to an enquiry.
- Protect forms from abuse and keep the website working reliably.
- Understand general website use and improve our pages and services.
5. Analytics and optional advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 for site analytics. Its PageView page location and path exclude query parameters and page fragments. This helps us understand general visits and page use without sending the assessment handoff or enquiry fields.
Meta Pixel browser tracking is optional. It activates only after you allow advertising cookies and records PageView only after the current URL has been cleaned of query parameters and page fragments. Rejecting optional cookies does not stop you from using the website or its forms.
We do not send questionnaire or assessment values, campaign values, or personal enquiry details to Meta or Google Analytics 4.
Structured assessment and campaign values are stored only in the configured Google Sheet. The full editable message, including its auto-generated assessment portion, is also kept in that Google Sheet for enquiry handling and follow-up.
Other configured operational channels may receive the contact and business details needed to handle the enquiry. Email alerts, SMS alerts, Supabase storage, and fallback logs receive no structured assessment or campaign values and no auto-generated assessment lines from the message. For the message field, they may use only any additional enquiry text you write.
6. Browser storage and advertising consent
Your advertising consent choice is kept in local browser storage as allowed or denied. No advertising option is selected for you. You can withdraw or change that choice at any time by opening Cookie preferences from the shared footer. Advertising consent is separate from the privacy consent required to send an enquiry.
7. Service providers
We use service providers to operate this website and handle enquiries:
- Hostinger serves the website and the PHP form receiver.
- Cloudflare Turnstile protects forms against automated abuse.
- Google services provide site analytics and store the configured enquiry record in Google Sheets for enquiry handling and follow-up.
- Meta receives PageView information only after advertising consent.
- Configured email, SMS, Supabase, or fallback-log services may support operational enquiry storage and notifications with the limits described above.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy arrangements.
8. Sharing and sale of personal information
We share information only where needed to operate the website, handle an enquiry, deliver an agreed service, follow the law, or protect our rights. We do not sell your personal information.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we handle. However, no website, internet transmission, or storage system can be promised to be free from every risk.
10. Retention
We use purpose-based retention. We keep enquiry and service records only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up, deliver an agreed service, meet accounting or legal duties, and resolve disputes. We then delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed, where practical and permitted by law.
11. Your choices and requests
You may ask for access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. You may also ask us to stop using it for follow-up, subject to records we must keep for legal or business reasons. You can withdraw or change advertising consent through Cookie preferences in the footer.
12. Contact us
To ask a privacy question or make a request, email us at contact@dseconsultancy.com or use our Contact Us page.
